An English-speaking hospital companion for your visit in China
China Hospital Companion helps with the logistics of a hospital visit: finding your way, queues, registration and payment at the hospital's own counters, and paperwork. That leaves you free to focus on talking with your doctor.
We currently arrange visits in Beijing, and we plan to add more cities in China.

We are not a medical provider and do not give medical advice. You choose the hospital and the doctor. All medical decisions are made by you and your doctor.
What we do
- Meet you at an agreed meeting point, such as your hotel lobby or the hospital entrance.
- Wayfinding inside the hospital: buildings, floors, registration halls, lab and pharmacy windows.
- Registration and queues: help using the hospital's own registration counters, machines and official booking channels, and keeping track of your place in line.
- Paying at the hospital: help using the hospital's own counters or self-service machines. You pay the hospital directly.
- Paperwork logistics: help keeping track of receipts, forms and printouts, and collecting reports or medicine when the hospital allows it.
What we don't do
- We don't give medical advice, interpret test results, or recommend hospitals, doctors, treatments or medicines.
- We don't choose or consent to treatment for you, and we don't sign medical documents on your behalf.
- We don't promise appointments, a specific doctor, or a specific date or time. Appointment availability is set by the hospital and its official booking channels.
- We don't sell or resell appointment numbers.
- We don't advance, collect or handle hospital or medical fees.
- We don't receive commissions from hospitals, clinics, pharmacies or anyone else.
- We don't provide visa or immigration advice, or invitation letters.
How it works
- Send a request. Tell us your dates and what kind of support you need. The form asks for no health information. Open the request form
- Get a quote. We review your request and reply within 24 hours. If anything about your visit needs discussing, we'll ask separately by WeChat or a private call, with your separate consent. We'll send a quote in CNY.
- On the day. Once you've confirmed and paid, we meet you at the agreed point and help with the logistics of your visit.

Pricing
Our fee covers the hospital companion service only. We'll send a quote in CNY after reviewing your request. Package prices: [[PRICE TBD]].
Hospital, lab, pharmacy and transport costs are paid by you directly to the provider. We never collect or advance medical fees.
Payment is in Renminbi (CNY), typically via Alipay or WeChat Pay.
In an emergency, call 120
We are not an emergency service. If you or someone with you needs urgent medical help, call 120 or go to the nearest emergency department.
The Beijing Municipal Government publishes an official list of hospitals with foreign-language services: Medical Guide for Foreigners in Beijing. We don't rank or recommend hospitals.
